A fault with a monitor that causes the distortion of an image displayed in which the edges curve in towards the centre. Some monitors have controls to adjust the display to get rid of pincushion distortion. Otherwise, if a straight line or edge of a window displayed close to the edge of the monitor appears curved, you should return the monitor to the manufacturers.
